Spindle is a local music player. It plays audio files that you add to the app from your own computer or device. Spindle does not collect, store, or share any personal data, and it does not track you.
Your music files, playlists, library catalog, cover art, and all app settings are stored only on your device. None of it is sent to us — we operate no servers and have no account system.
Spindle contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind. We do not use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA).
If you tap “Fetch missing artwork online,” Spindle queries Apple’s public iTunes Search API to find cover images, sending only the artist and album text for the matching request. No personal information is included, and results are stored only on your device. This feature is optional and off unless you trigger it.
Spindle does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page.
